I think writer's block happens when we try too hard, feel too much pressure to meet a deadline, or are distracted by events that occur in our daily lives.
Given this understanding, I don't get writers block. If I give myself to the story by turning off my controlled thinking, I tumble into the moment and the story becomes my whole world. It becomes the channel that gives my deepest self a voice. In that release, my outer world turns bright.
