My current series Woodsgate Chronicles is a fantasy version of my twenties when I basically woke up one day and realized that my dreams weren't dreams but in fact they were flashbacks of my terrifying reality from my heartbreaking childhood. The Culling book 1 is the begin of that discovery and you won't believe what comes next.

Don't listen to your family or friends when it comes to your writing, they're too close to you to be completely subjective and they might kill your writer's spirit, unintentionally of course. Instead listen to other authors, they are your biggest motivators at times.
