My first 2 novels were inspired by my husband. He is a police officer and firefighter, so I was able to use experiences from both of us to work towards a storyline. My most recent novel, which I am currently working on, is a romance novel, yet unlike either of my previous novels. I am not quite sure where the inspiration came from, but my recent trip to Italy helped create the perfect setting for it.

I have always loved reading. Since I was young I was always immersed in a book. One day I had this crazy idea to write and it all just happened! It was a wild idea I had one night when I was bored and it was the best idea I've ever had!

I am currently working on my 3rd novel. This is an incredible story that is near and dear to my heart. It takes place partially in Italy, where I traveled a few months back. I knew at that time that it would be a setting in my novel, so I was sure to pay extra attention to detail as I toured through the country. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

You are your worst critic! Don't be so hard on yourself. Also, don't change your ideas because you think others won't like them. Write what you like. The right people will appreciate it.

The fact that you can control anything that happens in a story! Don't like a character? Get rid of them! Love a character? Make their life amazing. The possibilities are endless when you make the rules.

I've actually never experienced writer's block! (Crazy right??) My mind is always going and I'm constantly thinking up new ideas to the point where I take notes on my phone when I have thoughts at inconvenient times (eating, in the car, at work, etc)!
