Tori de Clare Jude - did I answer your question? Huge apologies if not. Book 3 Shadows to Ashes is out now!!
Tori de Clare Hi Rob. Thank you. Music has helped me, definitely. I've been teaching piano for 30 years during which time, I've learned how to connect with people and how to understand their needs well enough to help them. As a pianist, I'm a performer and must deal with the accompanying stress and keep th I vs going. All these things have helped me in my quest to entertain my readers and connect with them on an emotional level. Plus my protagonist is a pianist, so my experience gave me plenty to talk about. Has your musicianship helped you?
Tori de Clare So sorry that I've only just seen your question Maureen. Shadows to Ashes - the final instalment in The Midnight Saga will be out 30th June. No pre-order, but it will be on Amazon next Friday
Tori de Clare This is appalling, Bernie. Only just seen your question. So sorry. Book 3 of The Midnight Saga, the final instalment, is due for release 30th June. No pre-order, but it will be on Amazon next Friday.
Tori de Clare Sorry Deborah. Been away and only just noticed your question. Answer: yes of course. I'm halfway through book 3 which will be the final instalment. Hope you're enjoying the story so far. If you 'like' my Facebook page you'll get updates. Thanks for getting in touch. Tori.
Tori de Clare I've only just seen this question, Sir. I don't think I get notifications about these questions, not even from those who proclaim that I'm their favourite author lol!!

So, the question now is: what did B get me for Christmas? Well, it's more a case of what did I get myself!! I bogged off out and spent some of his dosh on some new clothes for myself. I'm not an extravagant shopper, so I was quite kind on his wallet. On Christmas Day, I discovered two surprises - 1) that he'd actually wrapped and labelled my stuff (the self-selected things) and 2) that he'd bought me summat extra of his own accord, namely, an expensive anti-ageing eye cream!! Not sure what he's trying to say. In the college where he works, they have a beauty salon (as well as a hair dresser, travel agent and restaurant where the kids work and train) so he'd gone into the beauty salon and asked for their best moisturiser. It makes it somewhat less romantic when someone proudly tells you it cost 34 quid while you're unwrapping it!! Bs today!
Tori de Clare Hi Torese,

So sorry, I've only just seen this question. I didn't get a notification about it. The best way of getting in touch with me is on Facebook. You'll be updated better on there.

In answer to your question - yes!!! You can expect another book, but not quickly. I've just started to write book 3. It will take me all of 2016 to finish it, but it will be the finale, the last in the trilogy. I need answers too, and inspiration for that matter! I have a basic plot for the last book, but things always shift and change as I get writing. I'm looking forward to revealing everything.

Thanks so much for reading my books. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. It makes all the years of hard work worthwhile. Thanks for getting in touch.

Tori de Clare Hi there,

Really sorry for late reply. Have only just seen your message. Don't be impressed - I don't really have time to write. I just carve out a little here and there and eventually it adds up, like saving small change in a bottle!! The Darkness Visible - sequel to Either Side of Midnight - was released today! How are you getting on with ESoM?

Tori x
Tori de Clare Thanks so much for your question, Anna. Either Side of Midnight took a year to write and a further year to edit. I had no plans to publish the book at the time of writing, so I was writing purely for my own entertainment and the time, therefore, flew by unnoticed. Yes, I'm very busy. I have a big family, which takes an enormous chunk of my time - and deservedly so. I also work part-time, which takes another big bite of time every day. Writing time has to be created. Money, like time, is hard to account for. It just goes. But as human beings, time is all we have and we tend to make time for the things we either enjoy most, or find the most rewarding. It's about priorities. So I make time for writing. There is a price to pay of course. I have little reading time and very little TV-watching time. The latter is not a sacrifice, but the former most certainly is!! If I go on holiday away from my laptop, preventing the opportunity to write, I binge-read and my Kindle becomes my best friend for a few days while my husband breathes a sigh of relief that I've stopped talking! ;-)
Tori de Clare Hi Jane. I've only just seen your question. Sorry about the delay. Thank you so much for reading ESoM. I'm very glad you enjoyed it. The sequel is almost finished. I'm writing the final chapter now and intend to have the novel completed before Christmas. The writing of this book has taken longer than anticipated, even though I've consistently worked. So, the sequel will be in the hands of readers as soon as possible. I'll need to spend a month editing/proof reading, and then I will release it. I have no title as yet. Inspiration required.
