I fell asleep and woke up in a box filled with smoke and no way out. Flames are coming through the floor and sides, slowly consuming the box and stifling my screams.

There are so many historical topics to choose from. I think I would be most interested in the time of the early settlers along with Daniel Boone when WV was part of Virginia. Of course, there are always the coal mine stories. I think the Romeo and Juliet type of romance between a coal miner and the mine owner's daughter. There would be lots of action and conflict and certainly love lost and found.

I would travel back to the world of Georgette Heyer's world of the "Devil's Cub". I would just like to be a fly on the wall and watch the pomp and circumstance of that world.

Nick and Nora Charles are my favorite couple. I love all the Thin Man movies. They had such great chemistry. Of course, Dashiell Hammett is one of my favorite authors.

Hi Sandra, I have only written the three. Rumors Among the heather, The call of the Raven, and Too Hard to Forget. I grew up in Western NC and I now reside in WVa. Love the state. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Nice to hear from you.

I read all different genres. Some times a certain line triggers an emotion or a question will pop into my head and I'm off on a new story line.

I've always been interested in history and romance. I was reading an article about Bonnie Prince Charles and I began wondering what life would have been like back then during those turbulent times.
