Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
David J. Fielding The idea for Gifts (as yet unfinished) came first as the sequel to Gaunts (which will be published in February 2021) and also as a challenge to myself to see if I could write from a feminine perspective, as this tale is being told from the viewpoint of a ninety year-old Creole woman - it explores the her early years, first love and her confrontations with the Hermetics and the entities known as Glims which plague her world.
