Orlando A. Sanchez Wizards usually(not always) need a focus of some kind...think wand or staff etc. Mages are the focus in the M&S world. No wands needed.
Orlando A. Sanchez Apparently goodreads doesn't like two word answers...here is my two word horror story: I died?
Orlando A. Sanchez I stayed mostly in genre this summer...catching up with my TBR list. Read some Steve McHugh, John Logsdon, Kevin Hearne, Barry Eisler, Lindsay Buroker, Brad Magnarella and many others.

Orlando A. Sanchez Thanks for the question GC.

Yes I do and occasionally will listen to metal while writing fight scenes.
Orlando A. Sanchez I dont really have a favorite fictional couple. Maybe the context would help? Romance? Action Thriller? If i have to go in my preferred genre I would have to say Holmes & Watson.
Orlando A. Sanchez My most recent book came from an idea of having two of my favorite character types working together...a detective and a mage. Since I am a die hard Sherlock fan as well as huge Dresden fan I wondered what would happen if these two had to work together? That became Tombyards & Butterflies.
Orlando A. Sanchez I have always found this to be a strange question. I'm a writer. Writing for me is like breathing. I am always inspired to write, ALWAYS.
Orlando A. Sanchez An Urban Fantasy thriller titled Tombyards & Butterflies.
Orlando A. Sanchez You are a craftsman(woman) and your craft is story telling. Master the craft. Learn about story structure. Get all of Larry Brooks books study them and then put them into practice. Write, write badly, and keep writing. Never quit. Work on trying to get better everyday.
Orlando A. Sanchez Staring at a blank page and creating. Bringing something from your mind into existence and then most importantly sharing that. Being a storyteller.
Orlando A. Sanchez I read a lot and leave myself open to new ideas. Also I outline my books and that makes it impossible for me to be blocked. I have a map. Many times (all the time lol) I deviate from the map but the outline prevents any kind of blocking.
