I don't get writer's block. I develop a story board for my book at the beginning of the book concept. Then I just start plowing forward writing for myself, one word and one page at a time.
I find when writing for myself, I don't second guess my thoughts, and thus prevent writers block. I came to this discovery a long time ago. When I started to write many years ago, I found myself caring too much about what I think the reader may want to see for words. This concern stymied my thought process and creative juices.
