That's a good question. I can't remember their names but they are in Barbara Samuel's book In The Midnight Rain. I read it years ago, ago I can still feel that southern heat, and I'm not just talking about the weather.

Once I think of a storyline, I feel compelled to write it. The themes that inspire me are about love, both of family and community. I am especially interested in the legacy our family of origin leaves us. Fascinating stuff!!

If you want to write, learn your trade and then write, write and write. You can study forever, but if you don't actually write, you will never truly 'learn' to write! Also, I encourage everyone who writes to join a critique group that is supportive and encouraging and gives honest feedback.

I am working on book 3 of my Crystal Springs series. Book 2, Coming Home, will be out soon! Book 3, A Home for Haley, while it still has horses, is not set on a horse farm. But there is a dude ranch. I think you will enjoy Ethan and Haley's story.

I grew up around horses so I wanted this book to center around them. The idea for the story kinda evolved as I wrote it and realized what a truly wicked man the father of the hero was!
