The book I am working on is a sort of sleeping beauty story. When we adopted my dog nearly three years ago, her name was Beauty. After we adopted her, I got to thinking about the story of sleeping beauty and decided to explore that idea. Waking Beauty is currently in the editing process.

Now, when I answer the voices in my head out loud on accident, I can play it off that I'm working on my next book -- because I am always hearing those characters yammer away about how I'm not telling their story fast enough.
