My advice is, try to make friends with other writer. This really helps because you always have people to talk to and the independent writer community is amazing!
It can get hard, but keep it up! Don't read too much into the harsh comments, and don't take them personally. Everyone gets them and yes they do suck, but try not to let them upset you x

Beside the fact that I am living out my dream! (cheesy!)
I can think of a character, or a basic story line and I can create and bring it to life! People read it and some characters really reach out to people. I really love that x

First of all, I think every writer out there gets this and it's horrible! The way I deal with it, is I create a chapter plan, roughly outlining what will happen in that chapter. I never to stick to it though because the characters have a mind of their own and take over! But it's there to fall back on when you get a block.
