Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was actually inspired coming across a grave marker that inspired the story, an individual with my same name and nearly the same birthday, but born in 1889. I do have some ideas for more "intricacies of time travel" stories that could be novel length so keep an eye out!

The novel I'm currently working on came with the realization, and frankly admission, that humans will never reach much further than our own solar system. Space is horrifyingly huge and even if it is teeming with life, it's so far apart from each other there's little chance of interaction, even among the most advanced of technologies.

Nightmares. Weird combinations of things seen or read that click together. Random thoughts. I have no muse, I can't go looking for inspiration. An idea comes and if it sticks with me I flesh it out in written word.

Short stories and novels. The second draft of one novel and the scope of another, new one. I'm attempting to complete at least one short story a month, even if just in draft.

Never give up. Take breaks, step away, but always come back and try your damndest to finish your projects. Write for yourself first. Never suffer a detractor, but always pay attention to what they say. Even the worst criticism could give you inspiration to improve. If you have words, sounds, or images that need to get out of your skull, let them free.

Exploring my thoughts. Taking these things that haunt and intrigue me and creating worlds and characters with them. Entertaining even a small audience is just a pleasant surprise, but something I hope to do.

I don't. I am guilty of wallowing in self-pity and refusing to ask for help. It is a daily struggle. Write every day. Something. For a few minutes to hours-just sit down and write. I don't do that, I should, but it's what every writer should do.
