Hi! My idea for my novella 'Immortal door' came from a friend that I had in high school. He is based on my main character George in the book. His personality inspired the character initially but by the time I began to write the novella, the character had taken a life of its own.
I've also written from personal experience, even though I write fantasy and science fiction. I take reality and morph it into magical scenarios.

It's a wonderful creative pursuit. I also sing and paint. I love art in general and feel that being creative, makes the world beautiful. I feel everyone should do something creative at least once :)

I leave the manuscript until it's full of energy in my mind. This sometimes need resting time before they are ready to be written. The character's need to speak in your mind, and the plot needs to build in your imagination.

I loved English literature classes in high school. I started writing poetry and then wanted to explore writing novels. My first attempt at writing a novel was when I was fifteen. I wrote the Immortal door at twenty-one :)
