Marion Tucker Hi! My idea for my novella 'Immortal door' came from a friend that I had in high school. He is based on my main character George in the book. His personality inspired the character initially but by the time I began to write the novella, the character had taken a life of its own.

I've also written from personal experience, even though I write fantasy and science fiction. I take reality and morph it into magical scenarios.
