Man I'm a horrible human being. I missed this. The next book is actually out. You can get Night's Fall, the second Night's Champion book, effective immediately. http://amzn.com/B01GWC7CVO
(The devious-minded among you will probably think that I avoided answering this *until* I had a book out. That may or may not be true).

Thanks Lynda :) I do have another book in progress - but I'd admit to wrestling with myself a little bit. The new novel is something else entirely, about the boundary of the church and state (but set in a more Victorian-style not-Steampunk world, using action scenes and witty dialogue). It's a great deal of fun, but I'm aware I'm only at step one in the creative process:
1. This is awesome.
2. This is tricky.
3. This is shit.
4. I am shit.
5. This might be ok.
6. This is awesome.
So why the wrestle if I'm having fun? Night's Fall is the sequel to Night's Favour (it's planned out and I really want to write that), and there are more stories to tell following Upgrade (and when you get to the end, you'll know why - I have two more in the pipe). I want to write those stories too! It's just a matter of which comes first.
That's a long-winded way of saying I'm going to get drunk.
