Larey Batz I wanted to write a book with a female lead who (1) had been through hell. (2) could kick ass. (3) wasn't a flawless supermodel doing backflips and karate kicks in skintight leather and high heels (4) wasn't easy to like. (5) followed her own path (6) was obsessed with her goal. (7) was a smartass.
Larey Batz Time. It's currency. I plan to spend as much of it as possible, doing something I enjoy.
Larey Batz The last book in the "Second Dawn" trilogy: "Blood Theory: Second Dawn Book III" and plotting out a few other projects.
Larey Batz Don't over-romanticize your process. No one cares if you talk to and have deep conversations with your characters. No one cares about your muse. No one cares about whether you do outlines or write "organically". Doesn't matter if you like to write in a basement, a coffee shop, a park, high on hallucinogens, watching an ocean sunset with a glass of wine, or in a bathtub surrounded by a hundred candles.

All anyone cares about is your output.
Larey Batz Control. You can make anything happen---literally. (sorry, couldn't resist)
