Thank you so much for reading and leaving your thoughts; it means so much to me. I assume you're talking about setting a goal of how many words a day you're going to write? Let me know if I'm missing the mark! The answer is: it depends! On how you like to write, on where you are in the process, etc. If I'm not on a very tight deadline, I like to set time goals for myself. Time where I can't look at the internet or doing anything but write. At the beginning of a project, I'm very gentle with myself. I either only set a goal of 15-30 minutes or 250 words. But when I'm really going or close to deadline, I try for 2k words right now because I have no choice!

Caidyn! Thank you so much for reading Teen Frankenstein and forgive my delay in responding (I'm still getting the hang of this whole author on Goodreads thing). The Picture of Dorian Gray is a concept that's come up in discussions and I adore the idea. It's not in the works yet :) But someday soon perhaps. The next book will be Teen Hyde and, um, I totally love it. It's way more violent than Teen Frank and features Cassidy which was one of my surprise favorites from Teen Frankenstein.

SJ, Thanks for asking! Alive will not have a sequel. It was a goal of mine to make this story as self-contained as possible and for readers to be satisfied by the ending. I hope that's the case! I do have more books coming out, though. You can check out the High School Horror series, which starts up in January and then I also have another as yet unannounced standalone coming out as well.

I'm currently working to wrap up revisions on my second book and the first in the High School Horror Story series with Feiwel & Friends/Macmillan, tentatively titled, Teen Frankenstein, and I'm so excited to share it with you guys. I'm also drafting a super secret project that I love, love, love and beginning to jot down the first thoughts about HSHS Book 2!
