Jan Walters I recently discovered my biological father's family. Although I found out he died in 2003, I did find that I have 3 half sisters and 1 half brother living only two hours from my house.
Jan Walters It has to be Scarlett and Rhett Butler. Talk about overcoming obstacles!! Those two had passion, love, and learned to resolve their differences. This is why I'm glad there was a sequel to Gone with Wind. This book wrapped up story, at least for me.
Jan Walters I grow 5 acres of produce to sell at farmers markets and restaurants. So, I hop in my 4 wheeler, grab a hoe, and chop away at the weeds, which never seem to go away. By the time I'm done, I usually have an idea of where I want to take the plot/storyline.
Jan Walters Having a sense of accomplishment, but most of all hearing and seeing peoples reactions when they read my books. I want readers to experience a series of emotions when they take the journey with my characters.
Jan Walters Red Sunset Drive, a sequel to York Street.
Jan Walters Gosh! Where do I begin? There are so many interesting characters in the world. Once I retired from my day job, I finally get to work on my bucket list, which is writing.
Jan Walters My great grandfather was a Des Moines officer and Chief of Detectives. He was known for being suspended a couple of times and picketing the police department. I often wonder how he would feel to know that his great, great-grandson is now a police officer.
