What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Steve Downes I'll have to go book shopping first, but no doubt some history books, a few trashy sci-fis and maybe something classical I haven't read yet

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Steve Downes Why I never have paired socks ... I think a sock monster is living in my closet.

seriously, my family history is a blur at the moment, my father and his brothers were orphans so the mystery of who my grandparents were and where they came from is one I'm working on.

Steve Downes what a tricky question, I'm going to go with Homer and Marge Simpson, I'm pretty much like Homer these days anyway (and they've made me laugh a lot over the years) :)

I know it's good to take breaks between drafts but I sometimes feel creatively exhausted and nothing comes for days and then one day words flow in a sudden rush, which makes me think that breaks during a draft might be a good idea. Do you ever feel this way?

Steve Downes I generally write 5 days a week so I have 2 days off to let my mind relax, it seems to work for me, try different systems and find which works best for you
