Thank you very much, Therese. I hope you enjoyed reading A Jersey Bombshell and that it brightened your day a little.

The only type of writer's block that I seem to suffer from is after I've written the outline of my next book then panic that it's never going to be as good as I'd like it to be. Feeling that way can make me anxious and I need to make myself press on and just start writing it.

The freedom to develop characters and a storyline that you can lose yourself in. I write books that I'd like to read, and then hope that others will want to read them too.

Read a lot, it helps you find a rhythm in someone else's writing that can help you notice it in your own. I hope that makes sense! Also write a lot. I'm constantly writing, whether it's snippets of a scene that I've thought of or the chapter in my current wip.

I'm about to start edits for book four in the Jersey Scene series, A Jersey Bombshell and I can't wait to revisit my characters.

I think I'm so used to writing each day that I'm inspired by many things. When I'm waiting for anything, ie to visit the dentist, I let my mind wander and think of thinks or people that could inspire a scene in a book that I'm either writing, or a new one that I haven't begun writing yet.

I always write about something that I like the thought of but don't know much about and the third book, A Jersey Dreamboat, is about two event planners. I also mixed in a trip I took on a yacht with a best friend of mine. We went to a joint birthday party and were invited to join eight others on a yachting cruise from Marseilles to Nice in the South of France. Some of that trip inspired scenes in A Jersey Dreamboat. The dreamboat doesn't only refer to the book but to the hero, Ed. There's a lot more to him that initially meets the eye.
