Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I'm delighted that you have enjoyed my books but I'm afraid I have to disappoint you, as I don't have anything planned for release at the moment. I am hoping to continue work on a couple of draft ideas in the latter part of next year, but no promises, so once again, sorry :(

It doesn't happen very often. I usually can't wait to get on with it, but when I have occasionally been stuck, I make myself sit down and write, and eventually it works itself out.

Getting lost with the characters during the process, and finally having something ready to publish at the end of it. And - a very important 'and' - getting a positive response from readers.

Just do it! Put the words down on paper and go for it!
It is helpful to get feedback from as many people as you can, recognising that friends and family will usually be kind, but also recognising that not everyone will like what you have written. Try to use criticism positively and not let it deter you. It's important to try to take an objective view of your own writing - which is not always easy - but if you have enjoyed writing it, then it's likely that there will be others who will enjoy reading it.

I have two books pending, both of which are a continuation and conclusion to stories already started. 'A New Year's Tryst' will be the second and final part of Kit and Callie's story that begins in 'Champagne Promises and Christmas Lies', while 'Ellie's Journal: The Diary of a (not very) Submissive Wife', will be concluded with the fourth part that will cover September to December. I hope to have both of these out in the first quarter of next year.

I initially got inspired when I thought about entering a competition to write 2,000 words that would form the basis for a spicy novel. I started and just carried on. Knowing that it was possible to publish independently spurred me on to continue... and that was it. I was hooked. It's enjoyable, but it's also really hard work. Once the words are down on paper it then requires a lot of editing and re-writing and proof-reading to produce something that (I hope) others will enjoy reading, and that's written to a sufficiently high, error-free standard, which I believe the reader deserves for the time that they will invest in reading it.
I continue to be inspired to write by the positive feedback that I've received.

Christmas! Basically I started thinking around the experience of travelling home for Christmas, with luggage and parcels and a broken heart, and also of how lonely a big city can be, and how good it might be to meet someone really hot on the train.
