In reading your exercise, I can relate to some of the things you said (I was an only child until 16 if you don't count my father's other illegitimate offspring who lived with their Mums), and number 22 replacing the need with like, and I feel like I should have traveled the world like you did before I settled down (now married with a 7 year old rambunctious son). How did you know it was time for you to settle down?

Kristin Newman Hi, Carolyn! You know, I just had that moment where the magical moments felt more and more… done before. The ones that involved other people -- new connections, new conversations -- those always stay fresh, but the solo travels and adventures and running off to beautiful places started to feel a little less special, a little emptier. I was ready for the new kind of adventure, the one you're doing right now! And you only have 11 more years of that kind before you can go off and try the other kind. Isn't it nice that nothing lasts forever? Helps me sleep at night. :)
