As former scientists, we wanted to question the wisdom of spending billions of precious dollars to finance NASA's mission to a Mars, a dead, uninhabitable planet, so we decided to write a sci-fi comedy, "NASA's 1st Mission to Mars - For What?!!!," and make the point with an entertaining story and characters.

This is a great question. Inspiration can come at any time or moment, and there just isn't any way to predict it. We do know it is important to work with a great idea or concept, because a good concept propels the writing.
