Julie Johnson Ahh, thank you so much for reading! I'm still working on WORST LAID PLANS but unfortunately I don't have an official release date yet. (As soon as I do, I will announce it on IG and in my newsletter.)
Julie Johnson I am currently under contract finishing up book three in my romantasy trilogy, so I haven't had a chance to work on anything Witch City related unfortunately! But as soon as I finish this manuscript, I'll be free to get back to the Salem crew. I hesitate to give a firm date but ideally I'll be writing Worst Laid Plans this spring/summer. :)
Julie Johnson Hi Anza,

TORRID THRONE, the second installment, will be released in mid March. Then SORDID EMPIRE will be out in late April or early May. :) Thanks for reading!
Julie Johnson Hi Irene -- thanks for the question! And thanks for reading. :)

I do have a story planned for Aiden and Carly.... I'm really hoping to write it later this year if enough readers express interest. I'd love nothing more than to reunite the whole Wildwood gang!

When I have more definite news, I'll announce it in my newsletter/reader group. xx
Julie Johnson So happy you enjoyed it! The sequel will be released January 2019. xx
Julie Johnson Hi Carla! Thank you for the message! I'm so happy you enjoyed the duet. I don't have definite plans to write another book at the moment. If enough readers express interest, however, I'd love to write Carly & Aiden's story someday! I miss the whole Wildwood gang. :)
Julie Johnson Hi Katie! Thanks for the question. I haven't officially decided, but if there's enough reader interest I'd love to write a book for Carly and Aiden someday. I miss the whole Wildwood gang! :)
Julie Johnson Hi Cintia! First of all, please know you are not alone. The struggles you described are shared by all writers, even well established ones. Publishing is a highly competitive industry, and it's easy to get discouraged if you compare your story to others. I don't have an easy answer for you, but I think the most important thing to do is write the story in your heart. Let your characters speak. Focus on the words... and worry about the rest later.

One of the quotes I think about often, whenever I feel doubt creeping in, is by Theodore Roosevelt: "Comparison is the thief of joy."

Another important one is: "Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle, or your middle to someone else's end."

I wish you luck! Keep your head up and keep writing. xx
Julie Johnson Hi Elise! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed the emotional rollercoaster of The Girl Duet! :) I have definitely thought about a continuation -- I've actually started writing a spin-off for Ryder. Not sure when (or even if) I'll publish it, but I'm considering it.

PS: Just this week I published a book called UNCHARTED, based on the movie Kat & Grayson film in the duet! It's live on all platforms. xx
Julie Johnson Hi Tarryn!

I'm so thrilled you love Gemma & Chase so much. I love them too! They're one of my favorite couples and they'll always have such a special spot in my heart. In the past, I have thought about writing a companion novella from Chase's POV... but I'm not currently working on anything. Never say never, though! If enough readers express interest for something like that, I'd absolutely do it. xx
Julie Johnson You never know.... ;)
Julie Johnson Hi Kate! Thanks for the question! So happy to hear you enjoyed the series. I have definitely considered writing alternate POV novellas to accompany the main trilogy, but I'm not currently working on them. I'm actually writing a fourth book in the Boston series at the moment (coming out this summer!) and I forgot how much I love these characters.... so it's not impossible that I'd revisit the novella idea! I never say "never." :) Thanks again! xx
Julie Johnson Hi Rachelle! Thanks for the question. I'm so sorry about the emotional wreckage! If it makes you feel better, I was equally wrecked after writing it. I am hoping to give Harper some kind of HEA/closure in the future, but I'm not currently working on anything. If I start working on a book for her, I'll definitely announce it on my author page or in my newsletter.

Thanks again! xx
Julie Johnson Hi Hajar! Thank you so much! So happy you enjoyed the duet. Right now, I'm taking a little break between projects, before I put out another rom-com in my Boston Love series this summer... I haven't 100% decided what's coming after that! Eventually I'd love to see Harper get a HEA, but I can't say for sure yet. Make sure to subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on my FB author page -- usually I update those with new book news first! Thanks again. xx
Julie Johnson Hi Celine!

Thanks for the question. Conor also appears as a crossover side character in my Boston Love Story series (in book #2, CROSS THE LINE, as well as book #3, ONE GOOD REASON) so I'm definitely planning to give him his own story someday... He deserves a happily-ever-after one of these days! :)
