Great question! My story ideas, seem to come to me, the majority of the time, from two situations... in the middle of the night; where I do wake and write them down quickly in my journal, or if I don't wake up out of my dream, I jot them down when I wake up in the morning, realizing that my dream was less of a dream and more of a unconscious brainstorming session. The other place it happens to me quite frequently is when I driving. I'm not sure if it's because I'm by myself or because I have the music playing, but that is the one other place, it happens a great deal. Thank you for your question.

The characters were part of a different book and then I changed it them and the story during the Hurricane in NJ and a very strange dream.

Ive writing all the time. Stories, journals, diaries, in Hallmark cards, when they just don't say enough, but I needed the courage and the push to write publicly, because its not always easy to put yourself out there. I realized that the need for my stories to be told was greater than my fear.

Im working on book 3 in the Miss Taken Identity Series, Sibling Rivalry. I'm also working on outlines for 3 other books. Club Paradise, The House on Leighton Avenue and A Test in Time.

Just write. As fellow author and friend, Joseph Grant, has told me. Don't let other things that involve the publishing the books get in the way, when you're writing. Easy to say, but definitely difficult to do.

I tend to be stubborn. I sit there and stare at the screen, but In the end I lose and walk away, take a break and read. Then I go back when Im less frustrated.
