B.J. Robinson I love creating other worlds and get to write with my pets at my feet. I have a golden cocker spaniel named Sunflower, a golden retriever named Honi, and a husky named Cherokee, as well as a shelter cat named Frankie, who keep me company when I write.

B.J. Robinson Working on the third novella in my Summer Weddings series. There are three books: Cocoa Beach Dream, Caribbean Dream, and Key West Dream, the one I'm finishing for the end of June. The other two are available on Amazon Kindle.

B.J. Robinson I got my idea for my most recent book, The Belle and the Officer, from Brookhaven, Mississippi, memories. Years ago, long after the Civil War, my Uncle had a cotton farm in Brookhaven, and we visited. He let me pick cotton with the workers he paid to pick it. I didn't pick very much since I soon grew tired. He gave me a smaller sack since I was only four and paid me twenty-five cents for each sack I filled. I think I earned a dollar. I love reading Civil War romance novels so I thought of writing one set in that small Mississippi town.
