My life. It has been a mystery to me from start to finish. The decisions I have made. The things I have done. The places I have been to. Very little makes much sense when I look back. It seems I have had no control and some invisible power has been pulling the strings.

It is probably different for everyone. Personally, it is the expression of thoughts and ideas in story that others may be entertained and have the opportunity to view things from another's perspective.

Well, I am one so I need more advice than I can give at the moment.

I have been working on my first novel since mid 2016 which has been incubating for many years. Four loners lives are changed forever when they get caught up in a web of intrigue spanning twenty years. A street girl opens the windows of a young man’s mind altering his perception of the world. An avaricious and evil businessman corrupted by greed uses Masonic power to bring him down in order to save his own skin. An orphaned teenager rescues him from the depths of despair and together they forge a new life in a new world.
It's an emotional story that tugs at the heart strings and keeps you guessing throughout. It delves into the main characters psyche looking for motivation that isn't always found. The reader is left with a strong feeling that only with love, compassion and tenacity can we overcome adversity through reason, patience and courage.

It can be from an experience which I recall from the past or something that sparks my imagination. It can happen at any time and often does. When it happens I usually note it mentally or physically and let it distill for a while. If it feels good I get something rough on paper and then choose the time to write.
