I think, any of the couples in C J Bishop's Phoenix Club series.
They each have to overcome difficult pasts, on-going problems/secrets and uncertain futures, but their problems just make the couples closer. Plus, there are plenty of steamy scenes thrown in!
I binge-read the series every time I re-read it. I can't read just a few chapters of one book. I have to set aside the entire weekend to read all of the chapters of the book because I just can't put them down.

I'm currently focusing on finishing and posting a free story on my Wattpad profile, but after that I'm planning to re-write a few of my Wattpad stories and self-publish them properly.
I'll probably start with my White Bridge Crime Series, currently free on Wattpad.

Keep writing.
Don't listen to criticism telling you that you're rubbish; instead listen to why they say you're rubbish, and then improve.
Don't rush; people spend their hard-earned money on your books. Make sure the spelling and grammar is up to par, the plot isn't full of holes, and that your cover markets your book in the best way possible.
Read any and all reviews that you get, whether from a published work or comments received on a story you've posted on free writing websites like Wattpad or Booksie; respond to those that you feel it's appropriate to do so, and build links within the writing community.
These links will create fans who will follow you as you first begin self-publishing, and who may be willing to give you reviews to boost your initial sales.
Most of all, enjoy it! If it feels like a chore, that will reflect in your writing. Take the time to do the things you love, aside from writing, and gleam inspiration from everywhere and anywhere.

The freedom to write what I want to write, when I want to write, how I want to write.
I love reading, but there are so many books that I feel should have ended differently, or the character should have been portrayed slightly differently, or conflicts that should have played out differently.
So, now I write my own endings, characters and conflicts, and try to make them as satisfying to my readers as I can, whilst still making them believable.

Read books, watch films, walk my dog, go for a drive.
Basically, do anything that might provide me with any small spark of inspiration.
Then, when that inspiration strikes, it's back to the laptop to start writing!
