Most often my ideas just come to me fully formed. I really have no idea up to now what triggers the concepts I write about.To really flesh them out I turn to my own experiences and sometimes use metaphors for certain situations. I also write about things that genuinely intrigue me. I do the research, conduct interviews and voila! An idea is born.
