Wow, I am so awful at seeing these questions. So sorry for the delay.
I've used a number of different editors, but my editor now is Andrew Lowe. I made contact with him via Reedsy. They're a fantastic online service allowing you to get quotes from various professionals. Andrew replied to a quote, and I could not be happier.

Hey Ashley!
I am always looking for reviewers for my books so am thrilled when people contact me because the cover or the blurb has caught their attention.
If you send me a private message with your email address and format preference (pdf, ePub, or mobi) I can send it over today for you.
All the best

It was a long time in the works. The Adveni started out on an RPG, as did many of the main characters. Then I began having the idea for a novel, and Os-Veruh slowly came into being. It took a hell of a lot of planning to fully separate the novel from the RPG, and then the more I thought about it and put down plot points, the more of it came until I had a whole series.

The more I write, the more ideas I have, so I get inspired to write by writing. It's a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I also have a number of soundtracks that help get me into my imagination. Matchbox Twenty is my favourite music to listen to while writing, especially the album Mad Season.

Wow, that's a tough one, because there are different 'best bits' to writing and to being a writer.
Writing: That the more I write, the more ideas I have. It's also a curse, because I don't think I'll have enough time in my life to write all the stories I want to.
Being a writer: Hearing someone say they really connected with your book, that they have a favourite character and a favourite quote. It's humbling and invigorating that it's not just me who loves those scribblings I have put on a page.

Badly.
Is that an answer? Ha! Sometimes, I just have to admit to myself that today isn't the day for it. However, when that happens, I am always working on other bits and pieces, whether it's marketing, editing, or plotting for new titles.
I guess my real answer is... without wallowing. The more I wallow, the worse it gets, so I just move on to something else while my subconscious slowly works through the problem.

I still consider myself an aspiring writer in most ways. I'm always learning, always improving, so I guess that's my biggest piece of advice. Don't think you're at your best now, because you're not. The more you write, the more you'll learn.
Don't be afraid of criticism. It will help you learn. Some people aren't going to like your work, and that's okay. Take on board the criticism you are given, whether you decide to follow their advice or not.
Don't give up! It's a long uphill climb, and nobody gets there without work. As Dory says: Just keep swimming!

I'm currently formatting 'Fight or Flight' for release, but writing wise, I'm working on a sci-fi/1920's circus mash-up called 'Le Cirque Navire' and a paranormal serial called 'Teeth', which is available for free on Wattpad.
