Leann Lane When I inherited my great-aunt's antique doll collection, I was thrilled, but it wasn't until I held the porcelain doll in my hands that I noticed the inscription on the base: "My dearest daughter, forever mine". It was then that I heard the faint whisper: "Mama"
Leann Lane Inspiration can strike from anywhere - a conversation, a song, a dream, or even a what-if scenario that pops into my head. I try to stay open to ideas and let them simmer in the back of my mind until they're ready to be written. (By simmer I mean take notes as fast as possible before I forget them)!
Leann Lane Oh my, there's so much to pick from!
I would say, as I am picking something I haven't written (yet) would be one of these:
In The Wild Hunt University by Cherise Sinclair
The Dark Series by Christina Feehan,
The Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts
Leann Lane The Royals of Forsyth University series!
Leann Lane I had been wanting to continue my Bound to me series for some time now. There's so many more threads that are beginning to lace together, so much more character development and world building yet to go, to bring the series to a fantastic peak, and tie it all together. The big question becomes, will our favorite characters ever have a happy ending?
Leann Lane I have a couple projects going on, including but not limited to:

The next installment to my Bound to Me Series, "A Dom Worth Fighting For" (my main focus currently),

A new polyamorous action romance series, title yet to be released,

And a new Dark Romance novel, the title yet to be released,

And some other new exciting installments to more of my series.

Leann Lane 1. You are already an author. Period. Not after you publish something. Right now. As soon as your heart wanted to pour itself onto the pages, you became an author. Don't let anyone tell you different.
2. Don't give up. You can do this. Some days you feel like you just can't move forward, or imposter syndrome gets so loud, or your book isn't selling very well. Don't give up. I believe in you <3 .
Leann Lane I think my favorite part is the connection I get to make with readers. Hearing from someone who's been touched by my story or felt seen through my characters is incredibly rewarding
Leann Lane That's a very wide range of activities for me, all depending. I read, run ideas by my family, research, go on walks, and just enjoy time with my wonderful partners.
Leann Lane So, first a trigger warning about my answer involving abus3, murd3r.
It's not me directly, but our lovely wife. When she was in her teen years, she was held captive by a man in his 40s for nearly a year and suffered terrible things.
Not 2 years ago, thanks to a missing persons social media post, she discovered the man that held her captive (who is free and in Mexico now) is also suspect in the disappearance and presumed murder of a local woman. Neither my wife nor the missing woman's family knew they were connected by him!
