Jay Cardam We are in the process of moving into a new home and there is much painting, etc to be done, but I still have my stack growing. Having just read The Master, I want to reread some James. Others in the pile: The Virtues of War by Pressfield, Gentleman of Moscow, Brief History of Humankind, The Manor by Mac Griswold, Across a Green Ocean by Wendy Lee, and I'm sure I will find some time for a few mysteries along the way.
Jay Cardam As I write mostly Historicals, the best part of writing for me is being able to live in other time periods, visiting life in Ancient Greece, Rome, the Renaissance, the turn of the century...Sure, it may be just in my head, but for me, it is mentally rich and rewarding.
Jay Cardam I'm actively working on three books right now. Finishing up the editing and formatting of my second Numerius Meridius Pulcher series- Numerius Meridius Pulcher and the Case of the Syrian Slaves and Slippery Slopes. Outlining and notetaking on the next NMP-NMP and the Case of the Prodigious Prefect.

The third book is the beginning of a new series- Denys and Dixie Delacroix Mysteries of old New Orleans. The first book takes place in 1913.

Add to those three part time ideas for other books and series...Considering where to go next...
Fin de Siecle Vienna
The Russian Empire of Elizabeth the Great
1920's Chicago
