Hi Jenny, congratulations on your new books! I see there's at least one other author on Goodreads with your name. So you'll need to convert your personal account to an author account, then add your books. Then you may need to contact the Goodreads librarians (wonderful folk!) to ask them to properly assign your books to you, separate from the other Jenny Alexander(s). For that part, join the Goodreads Librarians group and then follow their guidelines on how to post a request. They're fast and helpful and they're volunteers too.

I'm in the discovery phase for the next Redemption's Edge novel, No Safe Place. Finding out who these characters are when nobody's looking, and generally plotting how to complicate their lives for their ultimate good :)

If you love writing, keep persevering. Even when it's hard, and even when there's no recognition. Finish what you start, revise it to be the best you can make it, then write the next book. It's a distinct advantage to have multiple books already written before signing your first contract (or self-publishing your first book). The revisions and all that's involved with promotion (you are your best promoter, even if you sign with a huge publishing house) take so much time that you'll be glad not to be trying to create fresh material at the same time. And make writing friends along the way. They'll make the road easier.
