I've always loved watching and reading anything to do with magic and adventures, I love Charmed, Harry Potter, Narnia etc. When I was growing up I watched Wizadora, The Worst Witch, Penny Crayon, Sabrina. The mixture of all these different programs I watched sparked a lot of my ideas.

Get a copy of the writer's & Artists Yearbook, this is an awesome resource for writers and taught me everything i needed to know about writing. Do research everyday, I still learn new things I didn't know by doing this. Write about something that you enjoy and are interested in.

The best thing about being a writer is the feeling you get when someone reads your book and thoroughly enjoys it. Also how much fun it is to imagine the story happening while your writing it and using your imagination.

When I get writer's block I take a break from writing. I spend time reading or watching films that are similar to what i've written my book about and sometimes this re-lights my imagination.
