Alas I played so many different characters in that game I don't remember Othlan and Dol -- please refresh my memory. Originally those two characters were in a friend's novel I was beta-reading, and she graciously let me borrow their names. (Also stole the name Dol for a character in my next series, and he is a piece of work.)

I think the raw version was in the giant bunny hutch where I throw all dream fragments and baby ideas. There they grow and interbreed and generally misbehave until they get too loud to ignore. This specific idea? I was contemplating Innsmouth as a suitable next destination for Sean and Company, and deep dark secrets broke the glassy surface of my ponders, as they always do in the waters around that town.
