I practice "stream of consciousness". It's a process by which I prompt myself with anything... could be a word, phrase, picture, thought..... and I write without stopping. I write every word that comes to my mind....every thought! The idea is that you let your mind stream and flow.

I was working on my Master's and started to have a series of related dreams night after night. The dreams were of ancient Egypt. As I thought about the dreams, my words describing the thoughts in my head started to become more eloquent.
