How do you decide when its time to continue a book series? I fell in love with A Night in Key West. And I'm excited to see where the adventure will go. Lacey
Craig A. Hart I'd love to continue this series! I definitely plan to, although I don't have a set date for it. My goal is this year, but we'll see where the muse takes us. :D

Craig A. Hart Booze. No, seriously...okay, yeah...it's booze.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Craig A. Hart There aren't that many things I love about being a writer. It's hard work--the hardest I've ever done--and it's lonely. Working to get rid of those demons is tough. On the other hand, those moments when things come together on the page yields a euphoria that is impossible to beat with any other high. That's what I live for as a writer.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Craig A. Hart Buckle in for the long haul. Overnight success is for the movies (or maybe the book you're writing). If you're meant to be a writer, you'll write. You won't be able to help yourself. And if you're one of those people, then don't let anything or anyone tell you otherwise.

How do you get inspired to write?
Craig A. Hart I read. Writers should read at least as much as they write. Reading is indispensable for a writer. A writer who doesn't read...well, don't get me started.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Craig A. Hart Becoming Moon has its roots in my own experience. It is not a memoir, but elements of the plot, particularly Part Two, are heavily influenced by my own life.

What are you currently working on?
Craig A. Hart I am currently working on a novel that, while not a sequel to Becoming Moon, is a variation on the themes of repressed desires, coming of age, and struggling to be oneself against the establishment.
