A drink! In all seriousness, there were many times I crept downstairs in between the tears and pages of draft completely and utterly frustrated that I couldn't see the next thought on paper. The most honest fluidity of my writing came late at night, with music blaring & a cold beverage.

Write... Write as much as you can about anything. Never let someone convince you that you have nothing worthy to say or that you don't have a story.

Sometimes I can go months without a single inspiration and then suddenly the smallest thing can inspire pages. The trouble often isn't lack of inspiration but time to sit down and put my thoughts on paper. Life with a toddler isn't always conducive to writing.

Life. I never set out to write a book, but I had always loved writing. During a moment of darkness I began to write to find the light. I wrote, I cried, I wrote some more and then suddenly I had written a hundred pages. It then became something. I knew as hard as it was to keep writing that I had to finish what I started. It was necessary. Taking the plunge to actually share the book with others was an entirely different challenge, but in the end I hope our story can help others.
