I know writers are typically portrayed as introverts and recluses, but I think the best thing about being a writer is the relationships and connections you get to make. You meet other writers, you get to know other professionals, and (best of all) you get to meet readers. I think that's my favorite thing.

Write a book. Once you've accomplished that, write a GOOD book. Then, once you've done that, write a good book that people will actually want to read. Now repeat the process.

I'm currently in the process of writing/illustrating AbrakaPOW! I also have a few other books in the mix, as well as a screenplay, a short-story that I JUST CAN'T GET RIGHT, and my ongoing video blog. (I'm thinking about adding a couple of channels to my youtube blog as well, so there's that) I'm pretty busy!
