If you have a book, or any kind of work in your head, when you have a good amount of blood sugar running through you, just sit down and put some words on a page.
Maybe start out with an outline. Maybe not.
Do whatever feels comfortable, but ends up being cohesive and makes a good amount of sense.
Interject drama, love stories, cliff hangers, etc...
Think about it as a movie in your mind and what you think that the general public would love to read, based on what has been successful in the past and what has stood the test of time.

My most recent book is Elyndor. The inspiration for it was that I just wanted to expand the world from "The Lost Rose Trilogy", which includes Parts 1,2 and 3 - The Spellbook, Spark the Flying Frog and The Legend of the Lost Rose respectively.
