About a year ago I got the random ruminations of the idea in my head, and as usual it bounced around like a pinball game in my head until it spilt out like a loose bowel movement later that afternoon and by the evening I had all three novels in the series outlined on napkins.

The only way to deal with this is either plan A - not write, or plan B - write anyway. Since plan A is not really an option if you want to be a writer... always go with plan B.
