G.S. Carr Hi! Thank you so much for asking! As of right now I do not have a specific release date for Lady of Disguise. I am actually working on a few other projects that I will be releasing before that one. I apologize for the delay in getting it out, but I had to make some tough calls about where to spend my writing/marketing energy and so that book had to take a back seat for a moment. Thank you for even reading my work and wanting to know!
G.S. Carr The inspiration my new series Ladies of the Civil War came to me while visiting the Confederate Prison Camp site in Andersonville Georgia. It was such a fascinating experience being their and seeing where the Union Soldiers were kept and what they experienced. While reading an info card I learned that a few women had been prisoners along side the men (usually with their husbands).

The gift shop had a book They Fought Like Demons: Women Soldiers in the American Civil War by DeAnne Blanton. I purchased the book and was absolutely fascinated. There were women that fought in battles while pregnant! I mean come on, that's so cool! I wanted to explore these types of stories in my writing. Thus my new series was born. I wanted to highlight the things women did to help contribute to the war efforts. It has been such a wonderful learning experience and I can't wait to share these stories with you.
