Giselle Marks Soon. An edited version of Princess will come out at the same time. There were some proofing issues, it has a new cover . Champion (no 3) should follow shortly . 12 books in the series but the first four were written together, so there is a breathing space then. They are all written, just organising covers and templating. There will be a 2nd Zenina series which will be a prequel, it will tell the story of the legendary Queen Skaldina ( she is mentioned in Princess.) I have a newsletter to email.
Giselle Marks I have never considered it as inspiration. I sit down and start writing and I write until I complete the story to the satisfaction of my characters. I rewrite until they are happy before I hand it over to friends to read and proof.
Giselle Marks Do not give up! Every writer gets despondent about their writing at some time, you must not let it stop you from writing. Persevere.
Giselle Marks Most recent is not as specific a question as it at first appears. I have just finished writing Wishing Well Cottage which will be released later in the year. It is a contemporary romantic fantasy. I wrote a halloween story last October and felt that th characters would make a good book. The last book I published was The Marquis' Mistake and the characters just played some scenes for me and I sat down to write. The next book I will be publishing is Heroine of Zenina, book 2 of the Zeninan Saga.
Giselle Marks I am not sure that there is a best thing. I write because my stories have to come out, it is more by osmosis than by planning. Finishing a story is always good and so is a reader telling you how much they enjoyed reading your book. That is a pleasure that never gets old or cold.
Giselle Marks I do not believe in Writer's block I think it is a negative concept. If there should be a lull in anything I am writing then I read back a couple of chapters and edit them as I go. Usually writing flows then. If it does not I write something else, read, edit or proof before going back to the original story.
