M. Gerrick The Watcher
(Based on a true story.)

M. Gerrick Often, I get inspired by an errant thought while reading, watching movies or even looking at pictures. Other times, I get these awesome dreams that I turn into workable concepts.
M. Gerrick At this exact moment, I'm prepping the sequel to The Vanished Knight for publishing.

M. Gerrick This depends. I have two types of writer's block. One I call block, the other burn-out.

When I'm blocked, I just work on something else. (Which means it's a great thing that I always have at least five projects lined up.)

When I'm burned out, I take a two week break from writing. At the end of it, I try writing again to see if the burn-out's over. If not, I keep giving myself breaks until the words come easily again.
