My most recent book, Jezebels on the Loose, is my first e-book. I participated in a workshop the focus of which was to prepare an e-book and there was an expectation that participants would arrive with completed work to compile into the e-format. I compiled previously-published poems that could have been included in Start With a Small Guitar but weren't. Happily, they had their own personality as a discrete collection!

Similar to my previous response, I'd advise not only aspiring writers but writers who are more experienced is to read. It's humbling and inspiring and, importantly, truly makes you a member of the writing community.

I've found the best way to deal with this block is to read. Whether poetry, fiction, or nonfiction, the best of it always generates ideas for my own writing.
