Random scenes from real life. Overhearing a comment in line at the coffee shop. A certain look from a friend. An innocent statement that could be taken all kinds of wrong ways, and it seemed that nobody but me found it dirty.

One afternoon while talking to a friend, they made a comment about "how cool would it be if...", and that simmered in my head for a while. A few days later, a scene unfolded in my head while commuting to work, and it festered for a while until I wrote the scene down, and for a few days I let my subconscious dwell on that until I could build a story around it. That one scene, started by a friend's thirty second ramble, caused it all.

I've got a backlog of over 100 stories. Yeah, it's kind of a lot, but sometimes I get that dreaded 'writer's block' thing going on, and the story won't move. I think forcing it makes the story ugly, so I move on to something else. I've got story snippets going back six years, and when the mood is right, I'll expand on any one of them.
Right now though, I'm working on two series. One is on the third installment of three, and the other is two out of three. I'm hoping I can get them knocked out within this decade.

DO IT!!! Forget anyone else, their ideas or words, this is your thing. If you want to write, then do it. I don't care if people roll their eyes or laugh, they don't even have to know. If you want to write, do it. No matter what your genre is, there is someone who wants to read what comes out of your mind.

2. Write something different. Switch topics, categories, or genres, then come back to where I was blocked and see if the thoughts flow.

Letting my inner thoughts and dreams have an outlet. Not everything in my head would be accepted by the people I know and love, but not everything I write is what I desire. I've heard so many people tell me what's in their heads, and I combine that with my thoughts to bring you these dirty eBooks, and it's liberating for my mind to be able to express myself in ways that other people enjoy.
