That's a tough one. I love Robert Jordan, Raymond Feist and R.A. Salvatore, but their worlds are kind of brutal. While I love medieval fantasy I'm not sure I'd last very long in those worlds. Asimov's universe is really vast and fascinating. I'd love to find out what happened to the 50 spacer worlds, other than the few he touched on in Foundation and Earth. So I think I'll go with that route, provided I have a spaceship.

I do intend to expand my travel in the near future. I've been looking into getting a table at the Renaissance Festival in Minneapolis. There are also comic conventions that I've done locally that are sometimes hit and miss. There's nothing definite in Minnesota yet, but will keep you updated.

For me writing is a stress reliever. I can step out of my day and escape to another place or use my stress as inspiration. I really enjoy it when I get in the "zone" and the words just flow.

I have books 2 and 3 in the Terranum series in the works. Book 3 started out as book 2, but I realized I needed to flesh out certain characters a bit more. I actually had a logical breaking point so I broke the book into two. So book 3 is only a couple chapters away from being done and book 2 is only about half done. I also have another ghost story I'm a couple chapters into. I'd been wrestling with how to present something and I had an moment of clarity so I wrote it down before I forgot it.

I actually worked at the Grand Theater over a Thanksgiving weekend and heard the stories about "The Grand Phantom" that haunts the place and how Al Capone used the theater as a hide out during the prohibition era. So after some research and a little embellishment of my own, I made my own story.
