Sarah Loudin Thomas I love that you're checking out Appalachian books! The books in my feed are for research AND for fun. It's so nice when my everyday curiosity merges with my research (guess that's why I love being a writer!). Plus, delicious recipes . . .
Sarah Loudin Thomas Nope! I think that's why I have time to write!

Sarah Loudin Thomas I kind of left that up to the reader to decide. They clearly had an encounter and Henry thinks it's a possibility although his memory isn't 100% clear. Was Henry that out of it? Or is Barbara just hoping he was? You decide!
Sarah Loudin Thomas "Officially" A Tapestry of Secrets is the last book in the series, but there's always a chance I'll go back and revisit the Phillips family at some point. I think Sadie has quite a bit more story to tell!

Sarah Loudin Thomas When I was an aspiring writer the best thing I did was get feedback on my work. I entered contests, signed up for critiques at conferences, and got input from trusted readers. You won't want to take EVERY suggestion you get, but when you hear the same thing from two or three sources, you begin to find where the weaknesses lurk in your writing.
