I have already written something that was not so much a mystery but was certainly something personal to me that had caused pain in my life. Written With Hearts reflected my relationship with my father. I was the product of an affair, and was always on the periphery of his life. I figured I would use the hurt and turn it into a relatable story.

Ahhhhh the dreaded losing my Mallion mojo!!!
I used to get myself all worked up over writers block but usually it's because I am tired, stressed or preoccupied eg christmas.
I am much more chilled about it now. I'll use that time to watch my fave programmes. Read some fabulous books from other indies or simply listen to music.
I know my words will return to me once my mind is fully rested.
In fact, I sometimes feel like it's a little holiday for my brain. It is usually bombarded with convos, ideas, descriptions, quotes and places... at least when I have a touch of WB, I get to have a little rest.

Ever since I was a little girl, I had an overactive imagination.
Now I get to let that imagination run free.
The best thing is being able to immerse myself in my stories. It is like stepping into another dimension. I get to be with the characters that I have created. Feel what they feel. See what they see. Hear what they hear.
It's like creating a life.
I have complete control over where the story begins and where it ends.
There is nothing greater than that feeling.
Oh wait....yes there is..... When others read your work and enjoy it..... yup..... nothing beats that feeling!!

Crikey, I'm not sure I'm that qualified as yet to give other writers advice. I'm on my own learning curve as we speak.
What I do know is that you have to write from the heart. Believe in yourself and in your characters that have been created by you.
Reach out to fellow authors and to all the great blogs out there, they will give you a never ending amount of support, advice and friendship.
Ultimately....go with your gut instinct.
Listen to that little voice inside. There have been occasions that I've not listened to it and wished I had.
If something feels off....that's because it probably is.

Everything, everywhere and everyone inspire me.
It maybe a song, a person's mannerisms, their laugh, a smell....I'm an EVERYTHING WATCHER.
Lots of things inspire me on a daily basis. I ALWAYS have a pen and notepad close to hand because I never know when inspiration may strike.

One drunken evening in Nov 2012 with my friends!
We had been chatting about my celeb crush, aka Declan Donnelly who at the time was single. One friend said to me "what would you do if you ever met him and there was a definite mutual attraction?"
That night as I lay in bed, Jonny and Jessica came to me. It was a fabulous eureka moment.
Over the course of the weekend, I had the plot outline, supporting characters and where the book was to be set all mapped out.
