What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Jim Bowering My life is too ordinary to have dramatic mysteries, so none.

Jim Bowering I haven't been able to find V. T. either. Took me a while to get back to you. I guess I'm a few time zones behind you, and then I always finish the day's writing before turning on the computer.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jim Bowering I normally get the idea for a book in the middle of the previous book. I start composing it in my head then.

How do you get inspired to write?
Jim Bowering I don't wait to get inspired. I write routinely, first thing in the morning.

Jim Bowering I'm in the middle of the sequel to The Plainsrunner, working title: The Prime.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jim Bowering I enjoy the stories and the characters. And, of course, fountain pens.
