When I'm alone and it's quiet, I sit outside and just watch the birdies and nature. It helps clear my head and opens up new thoughts and ideas. When it's peaceful, a lot of ideas come. Doesn't mean they're good ideas though.

I’m trying my voice out with a young male main character this time. I have this really boyish, tough, courageous side to me and this very cynical, cautious and skeptical side. So what better way to utilize those traits and put it into two best buddies.
Luke is the stable one and Chase, his best friend is the wild one. All his life, Luke had to watch out for Chase. But the best traits in Chase are that he helps Luke unwind and have fun, to just relax and enjoy life. Chase has done really stupid things, but when he steals his father’s gun, Luke isn’t so sure how much longer he can hold Chase back.
And when a good friend of theirs goes missing, all of Luke’s friendships are tested. But most importantly his life-long best friend Chase. It’s another YA Mystery which I hope will see the light of day.
